Nozawa Onsen Powder Weekend

“This was my first ski outing with TSC and overall it was a very positive experience. The trip was well organised and communications were efficiently handled. The cost of the weekend was reasonable and the hotel's facilities and food were excellent for the price. The social events were also fun, with plenty of opportunities to make new friends on and off the slopes. Definitely planning to be back next year!”

“This was absolutely a powder weekend. I was surprised that the hotel for this trip was so clean and comfortable! Even if you aren’t a pro, you can have fun at the beginner lesson and enjoy all the onsen in town and what a cute town it is. The hotel itself was located close enough to a lift and there were lots of cute restaurants in town too. The snow and slopes were the best I’ve ever experienced and I can’t wait to go back.”

“It was a well organized trip as always. The hotel was just a 3 min walk to the closest lift. We had great breakfast and delicious hot pot for dinner. With the rental shop across the street it was a really comvenient location, even with an Onsen. Nozawa offers a great variability of pists and the numerous Onsen in the village are a big plus. It was snowing a lot during our trip, with great powder snow.”

“Only a 4 hour bus ride with a couple stops away. Hotel is minutes from the slopes & its nice, cozy, and warm with plenty of hang out space. There's a rental shop across the street with gear for all types of levels. Fantastic meals and walking distance to Nozawa's night life & minutes away from a shuttle that brings you to the gondola base if that's more preferred. Hotel is also minutes from other delicious cafes and restaurants and walking distance to other onsens. The TSC staff always does a great job curating a fun experience for everyone. Only tip is to bring a powercord for extra access to outlets at the hotel.”

“Great value for money! Super powder weekend. Cheap powder ski rentals right in front of the accommodation. Amazing organization, nice hotel with bathtub and good breakfast. Guides always helpful and supportive. The only downside: the accommodation is close to one lift but far from the Nagasaka Gondola (17 min walk uphill) . ”

“Awesome weekend in Nozawa Onsen. This was my second time on this trip and it continues to be one of the best. The Nozawa village has lots of cute bars and restaurants in addition to the numerous onsens around town. Trip leaders were great and the snow conditions were ideal. “Nozawa Onsen Powder Weekend with Tokyo Snow Club is becoming our annual event. A fantastic way to spend weekend with friendly and cool people addition to snowboarding. Keiji is an excellent tour leader. He has eyes everywhere and makes sure everyone is happy. He has a great amount of snowboarding knowledges and experiences. He advises to each person at a different level. We all improved our snowboarding skill during this weekend. Thanks to Keiji, a fantastic leader and his staff! Will definitely book another trip with TSC very soon. ”

“Well organised trip with a great group of people. Good food at the accommodation and easy to get to the slopes. A little cramped on the full bus. Great value although the travel subsidy vouchers weren’t accepted anywhere in the village. ”
